The controller of personal data processed on this site is Çağan Çalışkan. For any question, request or application, write to cagan@cagancaliskan.com. This site is operated personally, not on behalf of a company.

When you submit the contact form, the following is recorded:

• What you typed: name, email address, message and (if you filled them in) company name, web address, the services you selected, budget band and timeline
• The page the enquiry came from, and the referring address if there is one
• Your browser string (user-agent)
• Your IP address with the last segment removed; the full IP is not stored
• The country code derived from your IP address
• Your consent to this notice, and the revision date of the text you consented to
• How long the form took to complete
• The date and time of submission

Your browser string, your truncated IP address, the country code derived from it, how long the form took to complete and the time of submission are kept for technical reasons: they are what separate an automated submission from a real one and what limits abuse. The IP is truncated because that is enough for abuse control, and the full address is more sensitive personal data than the purpose requires.

• To read your enquiry, reply to you and prepare a quote where relevant; as part of pre-contractual discussions
• To prevent abuse of the form and keep the system secure; legitimate interest
• If you have consented, to understand how the site is used; explicit consent

Your details are not added to a marketing list, not sold, and not passed to third parties for advertising.

Form submissions are stored on Google Workspace infrastructure: entries are written to a Google Sheet, and the notification and acknowledgement emails are sent through Google. If you have consented, Google Analytics is also used. These services run on servers outside Turkey, so your data is transferred abroad.

The box you tick when submitting the form covers this transfer as well. Emailing directly does not change that: the mailbox runs on the same infrastructure. Which is why no "use email instead" alternative is offered here.

Form entries are kept for 2 years from the last contact. The window exists so that a record of pre-contractual discussions can be held for as long as it is needed, and so the history of ongoing work can be looked back at. After it, the entry is deleted. If you want it removed sooner, say so.

This site uses two kinds of cookie:

• Strictly necessary. These are required for the site to work at all: remembering your language and storing your cookie choice. No consent is asked for these, because without them the site does not function.
• Analytics: to understand how pages are used. Loaded only if you have consented.

Until you consent, analytics is not loaded at all; the script is never even added to the page. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics loads and measures which pages are visited, roughly where a visit came from and what device was used. Your name and email are not part of that data. Google acts as a data processor here, and the processing happens abroad.

Under article 11 of the Turkish data protection law (KVKK) you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed, and request information if it is
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
• Know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Turkey or abroad
• Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate
• Request deletion or destruction where the conditions are met
• Request that any correction or deletion be notified to those third parties
• Object to a result reached solely through automated analysis that works against you
• Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing
